Close to the city but not too close, Volksoper tube station nearby. Good service and excellent decoration. Don’t feel the presence of the other guests. Tea time a nice extra, sadly we were charged for coffees (tea and cake are free)

We had four nights at the Altstadt and it was perfect in every way. Very spacious comfortable room and en suite shower with underfloor heating. Lovely staff, excellent breakfasts and homemade cake at teatime. Central location. Very convenient for all the sights.

We took two rooms for my wife and I and two teenage daughters. We found the service fantastic. The rooms are great with plenty of attention to detail. Our only regret was that we didn’t book an extra couple of nights at the Altstadt Vienna.

Cool, yet elegant accommodations (historic quality of property preserved with contemporary art updates), lovely and helpful staff. Terrific location- close to everything but great Viennese neighborhood feel. Suite is worth the small splurge. Small Luxury Hotels at its best.
